As a quilt artist, I create one of a kind handmade art quilts using a modern interpretation of the traditional craft of quilting. This is often known as textile art orfiber art today. Although most of the textiles I use are made of cotton, recently, I have been using denim as one of my favorite fibers in making whimsical art quilts. Many of my art quilts are embellished with beads made of glass, metal and semi-precious stones. Each handmade quilt is a creative self expression of healing and love, resulting in heirlooms. My handmade art quilts can be used as a decoration on a wall, or as a bed spread.
